摘要本文是一篇翻译实践报告。笔者受二十一世纪出版社委托，将美国作家 摘要 本文是一篇翻译实践报告。笔者受二十一世纪出版社委托，将美国作家 Soman Chainani的The School fo，．Good and Evil(《善恶魔法学院》)翻译成汉 语并出版。该翻译报告选取了Chapter21 Trial by Tale(《童话之战》)、Chapter22 Nemesis Dreams(《复仇梦》)、Chapter 30 Never After(《永远没有以后》)作 为分析对象，回顾此次翻译过程，梳理翻译中遇到的问题，总结笔者的体悟，通 过分析该翻译文本，探求儿童文学作品翻译中应遵循的翻译原则。 本报告包括四个部分：翻译任务介绍、翻译过程描述、翻译案例分析、翻译 实践总结。第一部分简要介绍了翻译任务背景、翻译文本性质以及翻译要求；第 二部分全面描述了此次翻译实践的译前准备和翻译过程；第三部分以“翻译操 纵”原则为指导，运用提升、处理、畸变三种操纵形态对原文和译文进行操纵， 以使译文更符合特定读者群体(儿童读者)的需求；第四部分从译后效果、译后 反思以及对笔者自身的翻译启发进行了总结，借此探讨儿童文学作品翻译过程中 译者如何把握自身的主体性地位，如何更好地切合特定目的语读者群体。 关键词：操纵理论 翻译实践报告 《善恶魔法学院》 万方数据 AbstractThis Abstract This article is a translation report．The writer is commissioned by the Beijing 2 1 st Century Press to translate The School for Good and Evil a famous magic novel for children written by the American writer Soman Chainani，to Chinese．This translation report chooses Chapter 2 1 Trial by Tale，Chapter 22 Nemesis Dreams and Chapter 30 Never After as the analysis material to review the translation process，sort out the problems encountered during the translation and summarize the author’S sentiment．By the analysis of the translation material，the author means to explore the translation principals that should be followed in children literature． This translation report consists of four parts，namely,the introduction of translation task，the description of translation process，the analysis of translation cases and the summary of translation practice．The first part briefly introduces the background of translation task，the nature of the text and the translation requirements． The second part fully describes the preparation and process of translation．Guided by the principle of translation manipulation，in the third part，the author uses Lefever’S Manipulation Theory fi-om the aspects of improvement，handling and distortion to manipulate both the original text and the translation in order to make the translation version more suitable for children aged between 8 and 1 2．The fourth part summar
