四川大学硕士学位论文A 四川大学硕士学位论文 A Study on the Forest Ecosystem Function of the Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve Abstraet The accumulation ofcarbon compo硼ds formed by plants present 011 a site at any given time is called biomass，whose production is a primary function offorest ecosystems．For another,nutrients from litter decomposition ale of great significance for trees and for biogeoehemieal cycling within forest ecosystems．As a result,a study on the biomass production and fitter decomposition in the forest of the Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve，a world famous place for tourism for its beauty,which lies on the upper Yangtze River basin,will contribute to the conservation ofthe river and future development ofthe re∞rve． Harvesting method(for understory)and allometry method(for trees)were used in the study offorest biomass production in the Jiuzhaigou Valley．ne results suggest that卅the tree layers in all communities have the largest amounts offorest biomass．the percentage of which al-e over 95％．n地lligh succession of needle forests and anthropological disturbance in broad leafforests may be the reason；6) the biornass distribution among various forest communities is not even．11le ～ ■ biomass of Abies forests and Picea forests is the largest,and its total biomass ■ accounts for 80．12％ofthat ofthe Jinzhaigou Valley．Their mean biomss is hi【gh∞ well,up to more than 300 t·hm-2．m biomass of broad leaf and needle forest is the second,total biomass accounts for 12．42％，with the meall biomass 214．86 t·lma-z．11艟biomass ofbroad leafforest is the lowest in Jiuzhaigou Valley,and is also low comparing埘出other forest in China．Their total biomass accounts for no mofe than 50／,while their a嗽more than 10％ofthat offorest in Jiuzhaigou Valley． d the total forest biomass of Jiuzhalgou Valley is about 7．115×106t,while the average net pr疵lry productivity is INJtween 10．533 and 11．165t·hm-Z·a-1，which is higher than temperate forest NPE m 四川大学硕士学位论文The 四川大学硕士学位论文 The litter bag method Wa$used in the
