Lead in -- Welcome to my English class. -- Let’s listen to an English song. -- What fruit do you like? -- We like fruit. Do animals like fruit? -- Listen and sing alone. -- Free talk about fruit. -- Set up warm atmosphere. -- Cheer the children up -- Brainstorm the fruits they have learned. Stage 2. Presentation (Input) Before reading --Here is the zoo. This is Joe. Joe is a zookeeper. Joe是一名动物饲养员。 What are at the zoo? 1st reading --Teacher tells the story with the pictures’ help. After 1st reading --What animals do you see in the story? Who likes fruit?
