To enable the Ss to get some important information by themselves. Teaching focuses: 1. To help to train the Ss’ abilities of expressing themselves in English. 2. After 2 minutes, ask two students to write their answers on the blackboard, others write on their books, at last check the answers. Step 3: Careful – reading Just now we have gotten some ideas about birthday food around .the world. Now we are going to get more details about it. 1.Divide students into several groups. 5 minutes for students to read the passage carefully. 2. After 5 minutes, let students look at the picture.
