·Key sentences: what questions and modal verb :would
A: What kind of noodles would you like?
B: I’d like beef and tomato noodles.
A: What size would you like?
B: I’d like a large bowl, please.
2. Ability Aims
·To train the students’ abilities of English communication and make learning process into daily life.
·To cultivate the consciousness of cooperation and Investigation.
3. Emotion Aims
·Learn to order food and have a good habit of eating.
·Using what have learnt into practical use and stimulating students? interest to study.
Teaching Important and difficult points:
The usage of would like.
Teaching method:
Task-based method, Group-work method, Situational teaching method
Teaching tools: a computer
Teaching Procedures:
Step One: Lead in.
Introduce myself to the students and greet each other. Then ask students to talk about the pictures on the screen and lead in what we will learn .
Step Two: Presentation.
Show some pictures of food on the screen. Learn the new words and pay attention to the countable nouns and uncountable nouns. Also pay attention to the plural forms of the countable nouns.
Step Three: Learn some useful expressions and practice them in the situations.
Task1: Go to the market with the boss of Sunshine Noodle House and buy the foods he needs. Practice the new words and the sentences:
-----What kind of food would you like?
-----I’d like some…….
Then finish 1a in the textbook.
Task2: Learn to introduce the three specials.
-----What kind of noodles would you like?
-----I’d like beef and tomato / mutton and potato / chicken and cabbage noodles.
-----What size would you like ?
-----I’d like a large /medium /small bowl.
Task3: Finish the listening parts in the textbook.
