The Research of the Dialectical law in infantile pneumonia by Association Rules ABSTRACT Objective: This study takes the infantile pneumonia for example, using data mining methods and combining with the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation methods, explores the method of association rules in the application of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation to strengthen the further research of objectification and standardization of the syndrome differentiation theory. Methods: This study uses the data mining association rules algorithm to operate for 480 cases of children with symptoms and signs before treatment, and combines with the knowledge of TCM professional analyze the results, explore the difference between different syndrome types of heat, phlegm, depression and the related pathogenesis. Take the pediatric pneumonia for example to explore association rules method in the application of Chinese medicine dialectical law research. Results: Infantile pneumonia total samples and sub-samples of each type of syndrome both have fever, depression, phlegm pathogenesis and the related mechanism. Between different syndrome types, fever, depression, phlegm pathogenesis and the related mechanism’s associated evolution and interaction exist differences. Heat pathogenesis pathology: Phlegm heat closed lungs is the most obvious. The second is hot wind make lung syndrome and the Yin deficiency of lung heat, mainly show pharyngeal swelling pain=tongue red and tongue red = thirsty tongue.
