II II Abstract Since the 70s of the 20th century, against the background of the economic and financial globalization and the information, it is gradually obvious that the financial industry has the tendency to spatial concentration, and clustering has become the basic form of modern financial industry organization. China as a big country with vast territory, its geographical imbalance of financial development is particularly pronounced and it has significant difference in the degree of financial concentration. Financial development for economic growth is especially important. Financial industry cluster as a part of the financial development, its concentration level directly influences the level of regional economic growth mode and speed. Because finance places an important role in the economic development and financial resources has become the main target of a regional competition at this stage in China, many cities seeking competitive advantage in the financial position and more financial resources, have included the local financial center into the long-term development plan, and in some places there is even the competition of China or international financial centers.
