It is about the second unit of Grade 8A in Go For It. The topic is “How often do you exercise?” In this lesson, I will mainly use Task-Based language Teaching Method. I think if I want to improve my students’ oral English, I must give them more chances to practice. That is “learning by doing, learning by using”. In this case, I designed a lot of tasks according to New English Curriculum. I will lead my students to study and cooperate with each other. Because New English Curriculum points out that the general aim of English teaching in this stage of Junior Education is to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability of using English. I think my teaching methods are in line with the requirement of New English Curriculum. 教学背景分析: The students in Grade 8 have the ability to use the target language to describe their free ttime life. “Free time activities” is an interesting topic that they will take a great interest in.
