Unit3 I am more outgoing than my sister
Teaching-content
1, Review words : the words in the Unit 3
2, The phrases: more outgoing than , sb works as hard as sb , singing
competition , so well ,want to do sth .
3, The sentences: It was fantastic . You can tell that ….., But the most
important thing is to ….,I think ….
4, Listen to the material 2a – 2b.
Teaching aims
1, The Ss can remember the words unite 3.and phrases in the unite 3
(2a-2d). The Ss can use the important sentences in the section 2d
2, The Ss can understand the listening material 2a – 2b.
3, The Ss can understand the conversation in the section 2d.

1,It is difficulty for Ss to understand the listening material
2, It is difficulty for Ss to master the comparative with –(i)er and more.
3, It is difficulty for Ss to master the sentences: It was fantastic . You can
tell that ….., But the most important thing is to ….,I think ….

1. Greeting
T: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Glad to see you again! How
are you?
2. Revision
The words in the unit 3.
3. Leading-in
T : The teacher ask 2 Ss to come to the front of the classroom .One is
tall ,one is short . To make the conversation with comparative with –(i)er
and more.
Step 1: Listen to the 2a
1) The teacher asks the Ss to familiar with the words in the section 2a by
themselves (group work).
2) The teacher will help them in the group.
3) Ask the Ss to listen to the material one time.
4) Ask the Ss to listen to the same material the second time and finish the
excise 2a, then discuss it in their groups. Then the teacher explains and
checks the answer.
Step 2: Listen to the 2b
1)The teacher guide the Ss to familiar with the Pic. On section 2b .
(Q: Who are they? What are they doing? )
2) Ask the Ss to listen to the material one time.
3) Ask the Ss to listen to the same material the second time and finish the
exc
