C: Paul’s shorter than Peter. 2、as…as…结构用来进行同级比较 A:Tom is as tall as Paul. B:Peter runs as fast as Mike. 3、使用形容词及副词的比较级对两者进行比较的疑问句及回答。 A:That’s Tara,isn’t it? B:No,it isn’t,It’s Tina.Tina is taller than Tara.And she also sings more loudly than Tara. 二、Teaching and learning steps: Step 1. Teaching Aims: Tell Ss they are going to learn Unit 3Grammar Focus 3a-3c. Step 2. Review 1. According to the pictures, write down the Comparative Forms of Adjective and Adverbs2.Using the pictures above, let Ss work in pairs: Li Yong is funny. Pan is funnier than Li Yong. Andy is smart. Ask students to find out the differences between the two colum words and try to find the rules.(找不同,找规律) 3. Teachers can give some help to the students(通过指出一些形容词及副词比较级的变化,帮助学生找到变化规律) 结论: 形容词与副词的比较级的构成: (1)规则变化 构成方法 原级 比较级 一般加-er Tall Short long Taller Shorter longer 以e结尾的词加-r nice large late Nicer Larger later 以“辅音字母+y”结尾的词,改y为i,再加-er Heavy Easy happy Heavier Easier happier 以重读闭音节结尾,双写辅音字母,再加-er Thin Big Fat hot Thinner Bigger Fatter hotter 多音节形容词和部分双音节形容词构成比较级时,在前面加more Outgoing Friendly loudly More outgoing Friendly loudly (2)不规则变化 原级 比较级 Good/well better Bad/badly/ill worse Many/much more little less far Farther further 完成下列句子: (1)他们的书比我们的多。 They have _____ ______ ______us.
