Step1: Sing a song
Sing an English songif you are happy, clap your hands.
(Let students sing and act it out, all the students are happy and excited)
Step2: Let Ss understand if 引导的条件状语从句.
T: Are you happy?
S:Yes.
T: If I am happy, I will clap my hands.
If I am happy, I will stomp my feet.
If I am happy, I will say “Harray”.
Then ask the students:
What will you do if you are happy?
Let Ss say more sentences just like this :
If am happy, I will…
Step3: Let Ss practice just like this:
What will he do if he is happy?
If he is happy, he will…
What will she do if she is happy?
If she is happy, she will…
What will it do if it is happy?
If it is happy, it will…
(Let Ss practice the dialogue by using the pictures on the screen.)
