Step 1 Warming up
Task 1 Enjoy the English song I Believe I Can Fly.
Task 2 Ask students what they feel about the song? Let students realize the importance of dream and how to make the dream come true.
Step 2 Revision
Task 1 According to the pictures, students ask questions beginning with “What are you going to be when…” “How are you going to do…”
Task 2 Practice the conversations using the target language students have already studied.
Step 3 Competition
Task 1 Boys and girls play a PK game like “If you are in the left situation, what are you going to do?” Ask students to answer the questions as soon as possible. The boy or girl who is the first to answer the question correctly can get a point.
Step 4 Listening
Task 1 Read the instructions of 2a.
Task 2 Ask some students to say what they say.
Task 3 Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.
