Unit 4 When is Easter? 第二课时 Let’s learn Ask and answer 教学目标: 1.能够听、说、读、写序数词:first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)。 2.能够通过图片掌握相关活动English test, maths test, singing test, school trip, sports meet, April Fool’s Day。 3.初步了解各序数词的用法及在句子中的读法、写法。 4.能运用一般现在时特殊疑问句When is…句型,询问相关活动的发生日期,并能够运用It’s on +月份+序数词进行回答。 5. 能够用英语表达具体的活动日期。 6. 鼓励学生根据实际情况观察活动安排表,并运用目标语句进行对话练习。 教学重点: 能够听、说、读、写单词first,second,third,fourth,fifth等序数及其缩写形式。 教学难点: 能运用一般现在时特殊疑问句When is…句型,询问相关活动的发生日期,并能够运用It’s on +月份+序数词进行回答。 教学过程: Step 1:Warm-up 1.复习:Go over the old words:Monday~Wednesday,January, February, March, April, May,June,教师说中文,学生翻译。或者利用教学课件出示图片让学生抢答。 2.师生问答。 T:What day is it today? Ss: Today is Monday/Wednesday. T: When is your birthday? Ss: It’s in July… T: When is Easter? Ss:It’s on April 5th. Step 2:Presentation 1. 教师请学生观察课本中A Let’s learn 的图片,学习first(1st) (1)T:There are some special days in April. What are they? Ss: April Fool’s Day.T:When is April Fool’s Day? Ss: It’s on April 1st.(板书first(1st)) (2)教师播放录音,学生模仿跟读单词和句子。 (3)指名读,读得好的同学做小老师领读。 (4)T: Make a sentence: April Fool’s Day is on April 1st. S:Read after teacher(同样的方法教其他单词)引导学生自己说出句子如:April Fool’s Day is on April 1st.(明确告知学生在有日月的情况下只能用介词on)。 2.用以上方式反复教second(2nd),third(3rd),fourth(4th), fifth(5th) 。 3.替换单词或节日反复操练此句型,让学生掌握此句型。然后请男生女生分角色进行问答。 4.引导学生找出所有月份里1~5号中的节日及自己能用英文读出的名称,如:Children’s Day 等。反复操练句子。 T :When is Children’s Day? S :It’s on June 1st. T : When is your birthday? Ss: It’s on Oct 2nd. Step 3:Consolidation and extension 1. 呈现first,second,third,fourth,fifth这五个单词,5秒钟后图片快速消失,请学生拼出刚才出现的单词。学生拼出单词后,教师重新呈现图片,核对答案。 2.小组合作:Ask and answer。(灵活运用今天所学单词和句型) T:When is the sports meet/English test? S:It’s on April 4th… Step 4:Homework 1.练会first(1st),…, fifth(5th)的写法。 2.说一句今天才学会的最感兴趣的句子。 板书设计: Unit 4When is Easter?
