Step 1 Warm-up
1.Greeting
T: Hello,everyone.
Ss: Hello, Miss Wu.
T: How are you, today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you.
T: Nice to meet you.
Ss:Nice to meet you, too.
Step 2 Review
I ask two students to act Tom and Cherry. And let other students to guess:“Who is Tom?”“Who is Cherry?” To led in mouse and cat.
2.Then,The teacher to show the flash of let’s chant in grade three.(It’s familiar for students and it’s easy to review the words of animals we have leaned in grade three.)
3.Sing a song of Old Macald we have learned in grade three.And ask some students to read these sentences.(Singing can improve the atmosphere of the classroom and attract students attention.)
Step 3 Presentation
The teacher show a picture of a hen, and to teach the word a hen. Then,show
a picture of three hens and to teach the word hens. To show a picture of four hens, and ask “What are these?”,“They are ...?” Let the students to distinguish the hen and hens.
2. Ask “What are these?”,“They are ...?” In this part, use different voice of animals to let students to answer the question.In this way to teach cows and sheep.
