It reveals the influence of the Puritanism includes two aspects. One In the following chapters, this thesis will be spread from different aspects. Main methods and ways of studies: This thesis mainly elaborates the viewpoint through seven parts. Part 1: Introduction: This part includes some information about Puritanism. Part 2: Puritanism in the novel: This part will state the detailed information about Puritanism and analyze the main character Hester.
