Case Case Based Learning Support Framework n the Context of Teacher Professional Development Abstract In this research.the importance of teaching to teacher professional development is addressed from the perspective of the context and the experience, and the rationales for providing based learning support for professional development is pointed out.The transformation process of teacher’s experiential knowledge is investigated from the angle of recontextualization and decontextualization,and SECI cycle model of teaching is also proposed, which is model ofcase knowledge creating process. A learning support framework,named Case Based Learning Support Framework(CBLSF)is proposed,which combines the SECI cycle and case—based reasoning(CBR)mechanism.This framework is used to create case-based learning environment,in which the SECI cycle and CBR mechanism coupled to support teacher’s professional development. This research attempts to solve three pmblems:(1)how to represent the in the CBLSE(2)how to this framework to support professional development,and (3)how to implement the CBR mechanism in this framework.The ontology—supported CBR technology and application framework specifically analyzed. Based upon comprehensive study of various technologies,a prototype of the CBLSF system is designed,which is implemented using open souree software The prototype the semi—structured method to represent knowledge,which is organized and indexed in subject and context dimensions.Finally,the effectiveness of prototype is analyzed through tryout in certain scope.
