民国时期杭州典当业研究内容提要 民国时期杭州典当业研究 内容提要 典当为旧中国主要金融机构之一，在社会经济生活中占有重要地位。杭州典当业有着 悠久的历史并一度兴盛。但迄今还没有学者对杭州典当业进行专门的研究。本文借助档案 和备类调查资料，试图从其兴衰历程、组织管理、经营状况、自身特点及社会意义等几个 方面进行系统的论述，以展示民国时期杭州典当业的历史概貌和所形成的特色，进而加深 对其的认识。 第一部分为绪论，简述了本文以民国时期杭州典当业为研究对象的意义，目前学术界 关于典当业研究的状况，以及对本研究所涉史料等方面问题的说明。 第二部分介绍杭州典当业的兴衰历程，主要是围绕杭州典当业与区域社会经济发展的 关系。本文认为，民国前期，杭州典当业秉承清末以来的发展态势，仍处于平稳持续发展 之中。此后，由于农村经济衰败、工商业萧条、金融形势动荡及社会风气变化等一系列因 素的影响，杭州典当业走向衰落。 第三部分则叙述杭州典当业的组织管理和经营状况，旨在探讨杭州典当业经营管理的 一些独特之处。比如杭州典当几乎全为合资经营：其从业人员中以徽籍人居多，本地人比 较少；典业人员的正式薪水虽比较低，但额外收入颇为可观等。 第四部分分析了杭州典当业在发展过程中形成的特色，着重强调其特点主要表现为普 设衣庄自行处理满货、创办本业银行、独有的学徒培养方式等三个方面，同时就此三方面 对杭州典当业发展的关系作初步分析。 第五部分是本文的结语，主要论述了民国时期杭州典当业的社会作用及意义，尝试对 其作一客观的评析。 关键词；民国时期杭州典当业 民国时期杭州典当业研究A 民国时期杭州典当业研究 A Study of the Pawnbroking in Hangzhou during the Republic of China Abstract The pawnshop which was of the maior financiaI organizations played signicant role jn the old society of China．The pawnbroking in Hangzhou which has Jong history．However．there has been no scholar engaged jn studying it SO far at present．According to the archive of Hangzhou historical archive and the survey of the Republic of China．this thesis will attempt to discuss it the process of its rise and fall、organization and business conditions、characteristics and social significance and SO on．I hope to prveal the entire history of the formation and characteristics about the Pawnbroking in Hangzhou during the Republic of China． which can make know it deeply． The first part of this paper describes the history of the rise and fall about the pawnshop in Hangzhou related mainly to the rengional economy．In the Song Dynasty，it developed preliminarily owing to development of commerce，and prospered in the mid—stage of the Qing dynasty，This paper holds that the Pawnbroking in Hangzhou iS still in its prosperity in early stage of the Republic of China．However．this industry has been waned later due to the influence of the ponding of factors，such as the declining rural economy，business slump，unstable financial situation and on． The
