AbstI AbstI act This dissertation is to Drobe into the New Overseas Chinese Generation(NOCG) from an angle of a government official of Overseas Chinese Affairs． The number of Overseas Chinese 1iving in U．S．A is at present the second biggest in the world exce口t that of South Asia．This dissertation focus on the N()CG in U．S．A not only because the Overseas Chinese society in U．S．A is one of key point of the research on Overseas Chinese， but also because the NOCG in U．S．A has accomplished some achievements on the fields of science and technology， economy a兀d politics in the recent years． From the opinion of this dissertation， there are extensive co加mon benefits existing between China and U．S．A． The relationship between the two countries has concern in the benefits of the people， the development of the human being in 21 century and the peace and welfare of the whole world as well． The NOCG in U．S．A is expected to do some thing to promote a healthy mutual relationship on the base of shared benefit and res口ect on difference between China and U．S．A for the unique advantage of mixed cultural background and the achievement on the fields of science and techn0109y，econoⅢy，p01itics and even social status． The importance and complexity of the relationship between China and U．S．A enhance their desire to make contribution and enlarge the importance and necessity of their role． The research focusing on NoCG does goods not only to the呻dernization course of our county， but also to the subsistence， growth and develoDment of the NOCG．The NOCG who learn about China better than Americans a兀d learn America better than Chinese will come up to be a【Ilore strength promoter and effective co姗unicator none but their speedy growth． The situation of the relationship between Chinese and U．S．A has affinitive influence on the subsistence and development of the NOCG in U．S．A，and vice versa， the growth and behavior character of the NOCG in U．S．A has influence on the situation of the rela
