On Fast-food Culture Values of the Impact on Young People
论“快餐文化”对青少年价值观的影响
Research Purpose
In the 20th century, Fast-food Culture was leaded into China and became quite popular for long time. In the past 20 years, there has been a rapid progress of Fast-food Culture in China. As the rapid improving of economic reform, Fast-food Culture was gradually integrating into daily life, it entertains people by means of TV, magazine, net book and audio---visual products, it immediately became the necessaries and fashion of social life. Culture of this kind is very popular among the young people. Many scholars have discussed the influences of the Fast-food Culture on the young people; the influence of the Fast-food Culture on the young people will be discussed from two aspects---the positive impact and the negative impact on the young people. As far as these researches are concerned, the influences of the Fast-food Culture on Chinese young people are of multiple importances. It is not only a brand-new cross-cultural topic, but also cross-subject.

Research Situations in China
Even there are quite researches in cross-culture field, the research achievements in Mainland China are quite limited, no institutions have been set up for research on Fast-food Culture, up to now, according to the questionnaire survey of 2710 college students and middle school students , by Propaganda Department of Regiment Center and Research Center of Chinese Young about “Research for Fashionable Phenomenon and Strategy of Young” being published in 2003, the survey showed that most students hoped to pursue outstanding results with spending little time and vitality. There were more than 88 percent of information that college students and middle school students have received came form newspapers, magazines, broadcast and Internet etc like the public mass media. Most students preferred to consumption culture, leisure culture and diversion culture. During the pastime
