ABSTRAC Rockfill dam with a clay core is one of the most widely used in dam construction projects all over the world and is the fastest growing type of dam. In the clay core rockfill dam hydropower construction projects, rolling construction is a very important part. The degree of compaction is an important indicator of rolling construction. The dam filler moisture content is an important factor affecting the degree of compaction. The moisture content of fill too high or too low, will directly affect the degree of compaction. To precisely control the amount of water of transporter vehicles to the dam that can ensure optimum moisture content of the filler, thereby increasing the degree of compaction in rolling construction, thus ensuring the quality of the dam. In addition, the rolling construction fillers more categories, each material to optimum moisture content requirements vary, so controlling the amount of water added value becomes more important.
