Methods Retrospective analysis 112 cases of upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma from the Ningxia Medical University General Hospital Department of Urology, followed up for 6 months -- 10 years, bladder tumor recurrence were recorded, grouped in accordance with the factors, including age, sex, with or without hematuria, with or without low back pain, tumor location, tumor size, tumor number, pathologic stage, histologic grade, surgical approach, whether postoperative bladder perfusion, made the univariate analysis and multivariate analysis, to understand the impact of various factors on postoperative bladder tumor. Results In 112 patients, 31 cases have occurred of bladder tumor in the follow-up period, incidence rate was 27.7%. Univariate analysis for each group, tumor size, ureteral cancer segments, tumor stage, histological grade (1973 classification), whether postoperative bladder perfusion were statistically significant to postoperative bladder tumor. Multivariate regression analysis showed that, tumor size, pathological stage, postoperative whether perfusion were important factors to affect the postoperative bladder tumor. Conclusions There are many influencing factors about the development of bladder tumor after upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma, various factors are independent of each other and influence each other. Among them, tumor size, pathologic stage, the postoperative whether perfusion is the most important factors. In clinical practice, we should follow-up focus on the patients who with many risk factors after surgery. Key words upper urinary tract urothelial carcinom
