The The effect of Sofa Color to Human’S Visual Sense Abstract “Grass has run wild now by the Bridge of Red—Birds；Dip among doorways of the poor”．Sofa，once as a special—purpose article for nobles and high officials，now has penetrated into common people’S life and become aa indispensable part of their life．And along with the development of national economy as well as the improvement of people’s living standard．consumers’demands on sofa are not only constrained to sense of comfortable sitting and favorable support．Sofa is a significant part of spacial environment，and its visual factors like color,shape， texture and SO on play a vital role in the aspects of actualization of products’ functions and coordination and consistent arrangement of special environment． Taken human engineering as the most fundamental theoretical basis．the research topic covers introduction．summarization and analysis of color and material of SOfa as well as people’S visual sense．Coupled with relevant theoretical knowledge about experimental psychology，electrophysiology，anthropotomy and SO forth， modern scientific research means，that is，electroencephalogram technique(EEG)，is employed in the research topic and thus the first case about experiment and research on color sense in furniture design field within China is exploringly developed． Limited to the primary exploration of the research，the experiment aims to probe into making use of EEG to conduct experiment and research on sofa colorcolor and human’S visual sense through the groping of operation process of experiment and settlement and analysis of the result of the experiment． Through the analysis of the experimental results，conclusions are drawn as follows： As for group characteristic of color sense，females are more sensitive to warm tone and they reveal higher excitement，whereas they are inert and less excited to the stimulation of C00l tone．As for some colors such as red．females reveal special sensitivity and excitement，which maybe has a clos
