Directed by professor Wang Yanquan Abstract Objective：This subject is based on the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and combined with modern medicine experiment theory knowledge to investigate the effect on the progression with six finger to six point and rotation and stretching manipulation and the mechanism of preventing or treating knee osteoarthritis. Methods：In the experiment, 29 healthy adult rabbits were chosen as experiment objects,which were randomly divided into the following groups: nine rabbits of control group(group A),ten rabbits of Gluc ocorticoid-induced group(group B)and ten rabbits of manipulation treatment group(group C). The group B and group C Were administered with the technique of right hind extended fixation for 7 weeks except group A. Then we extracted one rabbit from group A and two rabbits from group B and group C randomly to prove the success of modeling.After succeeding in modeling, we fed the group A and group B normally, but didn,t deal with them.Meanwhile, every two days, we treated the group C with six finger to six poi nt and rotation and stretching manipulation, once about 20 minutes, ten times a course. Before and after the manipulation treatment, we should all sample joint lavage from the rabbits of group A, group B and group C to detect the content of IL- 1 , T N F － ??a n d M M P -3 wi t h t h e t ec h n i q u e o f E L IS A , an d t h e n c o m p ar e wi t h t h em a n d an a l yze .
