Methods: Patients with tuberculosis were selected from the department of tuberculosis in the affiliated Shanghai Hospital of Tongji University from January to May, 2015. The Chinese version of TB Stigma Scale (TSS) was used. Results: The 120 cases of tuberculosis patients scored on an average of 34.18±7.70 points. Conclusion: Once diagnosed with tuberculosis, patients have different levels of disease shame. Patients with long disease duration and re-treated tuberculosis tend to have significant shame experience, and the others belittled feelings on them were above the middle level.
