In recent years, the arc bridge steel box on the building of the high intensity areas more and more, but the study of its seismic performance is relatively small, this is an urgent need to us for the seismic performance of a detailed analysis of the research. In this paper, Moutai No. three bridge as the engineering background, calculation analysis model of bearing steel box tied arch bridge with spatial finite element calculation software Midas Civil to establish different width ratio, width span ratio under the influence of the seismic performance of steel box tied arch bridge. The main research contents are as follows: （1）Review of steel box tied arch bridge of the classification and the development survey and seismic research situation; based on the basic theory of structural dynamics, introduces the structure vibration equations of motion and dynamic characteristics; （2）The basic principle of static method, reaction spectrum method and time history analysis method are introduced, and the features of various analysis methods are compared, and the scope of application of various analysis methods is summarized; （3）The Moutai No. three bridge (supporting steel box tied arch bridge) to analyze the dynamical characteristics; （4）Respectively by response spectrum method and dynamic time history analysis method, comparative analysis of mechanical properties of different width span ratio of five steel box through tied arch bridge under the same earthquake, are most favorable for seismic width span ratio range. （ 5 ） Comparative analysis of dynamic time history
