However, Foxconn performance is doubled in the past years and it did not influenced by global economic. Why? The root cause is special mode of e-enabled Component Module Move Service by Foxconn CEO Mr Guo brought forward. By the special mode, Foxconn bring 5 core competitions, which are composed Speed, Quality, Engineer Service, Flexibility, Cost and Added Value. Also Foxconn create the international pattern that Design at two sites, Manufacture at three places and Global delivery. In the core competitions, speed is the most important. And product design is the most important in the manufacture industry. So this disquisition will discuss rapid design. Firstly, it introduces the concept of rapid responding engineering. It pointed out product design need rapid responding in current connector market industry. Then discuss the principle, method and technical of rapid responding. It need construct product model when have new requirement, the model need cover one group’s customer requirement. New product design should include two different levels, which is new design and variable design. The two levels should be integrated by product model. Secondly, it discussed product model in the rapid responding design. The model is divided function model, behavior model and structure model. Function model and behavior model are the bridge, which connect customer requirement and detail product structure. When have new requirement, it can use QFD model to convert customer voice. And can use mathematics method to calculate the best specification. How to apply the product model is critical after create the product model. Construction unit is description for product structure.
