Through this study，the author aims to find the relationship between cognitive styles and English writing strategies. Thus，in later English writing teaching，the teachers can try thcir best to increase the stud巳nts awareness of cognitive styles preference and tc在.ch English writing strategies in classroom teaching. Howcvcr，due to Iim iled lime，space and the author s capabi lity，there are still a few limitat ions of the present research，which needs to be improved in the follow-up research.
