In the history of Chinese new poetry development, his poetic theory has the extremely important status, which is an important part in the development of modern Chinese poetics. This dissertation is on the symbolism poetics theory of Liang Zongdai , combined with the social background, cultural background and literary background, discusses the formation，construction and historical value of the symbolism poetics theory of Liang Zongdai. Liang Zongdais early poetry, Wan Dao《( 晚祷》) , has unique aesthetic features, which is the deep rhythm of poetry poet symbol. With the aid of natural image ,it focus on self emotion performance. By implication and the tactics of the symbol ,it builds a kind of artistic conception and atmosphere, which makes the person produce the holy, godly emotions. The exploration of his poetry creation lays a solid foundation of the late symbolism poetic. What’s more, the pursuite of poetry and truth makes Liang Zongdais poetics have more new ideas and beauty lasting charm. The symbolism poetics theory of Liang Zongdai is the result of social context and Personal context .Liang Zongdai focus on the integration of Chinese and western theories, he absorbs the poetic elements and spiritual nadis from French symbolism and German classic romanticism. He pursues the poetry and truth, advocates Pure poetry and has been charmed with The spirit realm of symbolism. Based on the comparison of Chinese and western theory of consciousness, he converges the symbol of western poetics and xing(比兴) of Chinese classical poetics. He also tries to construct the ideal system of symbolism.
