As a result, Chinese modern cultural structure changed, such as the appearance of cultural diversity and the variety of Poetry criticism theory. Liang Shiqiu is a famous modern literary critic, and he takes poems as literary criticism’s origin and works for literary criticism in his whole life. Meanwhile, he integrates Chinese and western poetics thought and he takes humanity as poetic thoery and poetic criticism’s hyle. He emphasizes poetry’s view of human nature, so he becomes the representative of new humanism Most of the present researches on Liang Shiqiu’s poetic criticism are mainly about his poetic theory and evaluation study, the poetic theory mode and evaluation study mode have their respective characters and they are usually used together. According to the theory of humanity, Liang Shiqiu creates his distinctive poetic theory so as to seek new poetry’ development and to make contributions to Chinese poetry’s development. Based on the present academic research achievement, the author of this paper associates humanity with Chinese modern poetics and tries to find out the humanity’s exisiting reason in Liang Shiqiu’s poetic criticism. The author analyzes the connotation of Liang Shiqiu’s poetic criticism and Practical Criticism, etc. The author also interprets the distinctive features of Liang Shiqiu’s humanity so as to illustrate Liang Shiqiu’s contribution to the development of Chinese poetry.
