IV IV Abstract For a long time, the phenomenon of duplication of development efforts exists in software development process.To a certain extent, The emergence of software reuse solves the drawbacks of software development. The so-called software reuse refers to the software created by through a variety of existing software knowledge, which can effectively reduce software development time and cost. The object-oriented class as an important element in the realization of a software reuse provides a good condition. With the development of in-depth, the number of classes increased exponentially. Therefore, the classes need to be stored and managed in an effective place–Class Library. Class library is the basic conditions based on reuse that object-oriented methodology advocates in the development methodology .In object-oriented development process, software developers begin the search from the reusable class library for classes to be applied in the current system, and then begin to design and develop new program code. Traditional information retrieval is only based on the syntax used at the level of simple word matching, and lack of information representation and understanding. Designing a better classification description mechanism will be conducive to efficient storage and management of classes and help users quickly find a class from the V V library suited to their needs so as to better achieve the purpose of software reuse. The method of combining faceted and ontology search and retrieval can solve search inefficiencies. Therefore, in order to solve the traditional library search methods which can not really understand the users search purpose, as well as the low recall rate and precision rate, this topic at the moment focuses on the combination of faceted classification and semantic retrieval based on ontology-reasoning model and algorithms. The method conducts query semantic expansion submitted by a user to improve the efficiency of library search. Keywords:facete
