聊城大学硕士学位论文 聊城大学硕士学位论文 PAGE PAGE vi ABSTRACT Campaign of the Gao Liangriver is the Northern Song Dynasty and the Liao Dynasty first large-scale military contest, and has had the material effect to both sides. Although the academic circle has had the elaboration to this campaign, it is not systematic and comprehensive. The author wants, in the predecessor studies above the foundation, with the related historical data and military theory aspects knowledge, makes a comprehensive systems elaboration to this campaign. In the analysis related question, i pay great attention to both Song and Liao aspects and make every effort completely descripte these two political power with this campaigns relations. The paper first elaborated the Song Liao’s national strength situation before the war, because Song Liao in politics, economy and military have had some radical changes, this has had the material effect to the two political powers development as well as the bilateral military struggle. Next has analyzed the eruption reason of the campaign. This campaign’s basic reason is the contention of the YanYun which is an important place between Song and Liao, the immediate reason is that Songtaizong who is eager to render meritorious service after taking a seat and start a war with the Liao Dynasty after defeating the Northern Han Dynasty. Then analyze the defeats reason of Song Dynasty army in Campaign of the Gao Liangriver by both Song Dynasty and Liao Dynasty aspects. About the defeats reason of Song Dynasty army, is mainly caused by Song Taizong’s wrong direction and Liao Jingzong is good at choosing a person for a job ,then military officer director is splendid. Moreover, the De Shengkou battle shoulg be taken a high attention, because this battle will have a material effect to the later wars development.
