GUIDE FOR DOCTORAL THESIS PREPARATION 博士论文撰写格式规范 1）Submission of the Thesis 论文提交 Candidates should submit the following: 学员应提交以下内容： (i) Curriculum Vitae (European model, separated from the thesis). 个人简历（欧版，与论文分开装订）。 (ii) Letter from the thesis supervisor, declaring that the thesis is concluded and that it is ready to be presented in a public examination. The thesis may be written in English. 导师签署的同意论文提交 答辩委公开审查的函件。论文用英文撰写。 (iii)Letter from the candidate to the Rector of ISCTE requesting the presentation of the dissertation. 学员提交给ISCTE 校长的 “论文提交申请函”。 2 ）Thesis Format 论文格式 论文印制顺序 The thesis must be presented in the following order: 论文须以如下顺序呈现： (i) Cover, spine and first page. 封面、书脊和扉页。 (ii) 2 abstracts, in Portuguese and English (English abstract prior to Portuguese), with a maximum of 250 words each, with 4 key words and 2 classifications of the JEL Classification System. 英文及葡文的摘 要各单独成一页(英文摘要置前) ，250 字以内，4 个关键词，JEL 分类系统中的2 个分类。 (iii) Acknowledgements. 致谢 (iv) Contents. Starts form Chapter One, pre-parts, e.g. Abstract and Acknowledgements should not be included in the Contents. 目录。内容从第一章开始，摘要及致谢等前置部分不需放在目录里。 (v) Index. This can include list of tables and figures and list of abbreviations/glossary in sequence.
