Section II Reading Reading A Ss listen and read a passage about traffic control devices. Reading B Ss read a passage about traffic regulations. Then they judge some statements, summarize the passage, and translate some sentences from the passage into Chinese. Section III Grammar Subject-Verb Agreement Section IV Comprehensive Practice (I) Applied writing A Letter of Complaint (II) Presentation Ss choose one of the two tasks, discuss with their partners and give a presentation. For a fast route through the unit, focus mainly on listening and speaking skills. Section I Listening and speaking Ss listen and talk about traffic signs and their meaning.
