A chain of events taking place one after another by coincidence may seriously affect your mood if you don’t know how to deal with them. Have you ever had such an experience? Warm-up Activity: Deal with unpleasant events 1. Read the list of unpleasant events and decide how you would respond to them by ticking off the actions you would not take. 2. Choose one of the topics you are most interested in or one from your own experiences to develop a short article. 3. Share your writing with your classmates. Basic knowledge about narration description What is narration? Narration is an account of an event or connected events. This is a commonly used method in writing a novel, a story, real or imaginary, or news reports. Chronological order: present events in exactly the order in which they occurred, moving from beginning to end, from first event to the last. If you are writing a straightforward account of a historical event, chronological order is often used. Description—a piece of writing that a person, a place, an object or a scene is described as drawing a picture. The conclusion of a descriptive essay should be details of observation which permanently fix that central impression of your reader. The conclusion is not just a way to bring the essay to a close; it is a final opportunity to create the desired effect on your reader.
