2.The teacher ask the students: “Do you like animals? What animals do you like”? several students answer: “I like dogs ” “I like monkeys” “I like ducks”…
Then the teacher shows a puzzle, let students guess what animal it is. The students say the answer “panda”together And then ask: “Do you like pandas? Why do you like them? ” Call a student to answer. The teacher say “OK, today we will learn unit 5 Why do you like pandas? And we will go to the zoo to talk about animals. Well, how many animals do you know?” Invite some students to answer. then say: Now let’s go to the zoo to see more animals.
Step 2 : Learn new words
Present the new words by showing the pictures of animals.

Read the sentences and guess the animals.
The teacher read the sentences and students guess the animals.

Read the new words loudly (students read the words together)
look at the picture and match the words with the animals. (students complete the task in 2 minutes.)
