Step1 Warm-up
1. T greets Ss as usual.
2. T gives Ss a dancing show. T asks Ss : What am I doing? Ss answers the questions actively.
3. T writes down the name of the unit.
Step 2 Presentation
T shows Ss some pictures about some expressions Ss have learned and asks them to answer in present simple tense.
T tells them the structure of present progressive tense and lets Ss answer what they saw in present progressive tense.
T shows some pictures of 1a and Ss learn the new expressions together. Then T lets Ss finish 1a.
Step 3 Consolidation
T lets Ss act out the actions in 1a and guess what they are doing.
T gives Ss an example and asks Ss to make a conversation about the picture in 1a.
T lets Ss show their conversations and see which group is the best.
Step 4 Listening
Before listening, T gives Ss some listening tips: pay attention to the key words.
T and Ss finish 1b together and check the answers.
T prepares two specific questions for Ss. T lets Ss answers them during the second listening.
T lets Ss read after the tape and imitate the tones of the speake
