Teaching aims:
1. Ss can use “There be” sentence structure to describe sth. in someplace.
2. Ss can listen, say, read and write sentences: Are there any pandas in the mountains? Are there any fish in the river? Yes, there are./ No, there aren’t.
3. Ss can understand the passage and use the sentences in the match.
Total task: Make a new ad. for city\ village \ nature park.
Teaching focus: Ss can use yes or no question“ Are there …?” and answer it in real situations.
Teaching difficulties: 1.Ss can distinguish “there is” and “there are”, and
use them properly. 2. Fish and its plus pattern.
Teaching preparations: PPT, posters of cities \villages\nature parks

Presentation:
1.Guessing game: who is he\she?
Let ss guess who he \she is in 2 pictures .Use sentences :
S:Is he\she …? T: Yes, he\she is. No,he\ she isn’t.
I am an Engish teacher . I teach English.
He is a Chinese teacher. He teaches Chinese.
设计意图:在free talk中用do you的一般疑问句提问,为今天所学的一般疑问句做引子。猜图中的人物是希望学生会使用be动词的一般疑问句。感受be动词一般疑问句和助动词一般疑问句的区别。两张照片分别是本人和一位语文老师,这样就新授单词teach及单三式。同时进行第一人称和第三人称的对比。

反思:在读文本做题时老师示范不到位,学生没理解。导致做题效果不理想。可增加复述环节,对文本处理的细致有利后面任务的输出。

T: They are from different villages. But they are in the same travel service. They want to invite more friends to visit city\ village \ nature park. Each small group chooses one poster to make an ad. .
