Abstract Abstract With the supplier is playing a more and more important role in the supply chain, supplier competition are constantly increasing, how to identify different supplier performance between suppliers, thereby, it’s very important subject for many researchers and entrepreneurs to research how to classifying the suppliers. Supplier performance evaluation provides a good method for supply chain management, purchasing department must evaluate supplier performance regularly, to expect the supplier can reach the enterprise requirements. When doing the supplier evaluation, we must also consider multiple indexes and make a decision on the weight of each index, because of the relationship and impact situation among the indexes, so it is more complex to make a decision on the weights, in addition, because the interaction between performance index, correlation between the supplier evaluation indexes is a problem that must be considered. This paper was based on the supplier management theory, used the method of literature, questionnaire survey method and other research methods make a research on how to construct the supplier performance evaluation system of Jinding Company. Firstly, introduced Jinding Company presentation, and described the supplier status; meanwhile, we analyzed the existing problems at Jinding Company about their supplier management, and researched why the problems were produced. Secondly, through the online questionnaire on existing suppliers and other related personnel to carry out the face to face investigation and website investigation, to help Jinding company to build a scientific, reasonable, just, honest, open, impersonal, efficient, applicable supplier evaluation system to against the actual situation.
