With the rapid development of Internet, plentiful information resources bring people much convenience, on the other hand, they bring people insecure problems, too. With the characteristics of opening and surmounting organizations and nations, Internet has some potential security hazards. Network attack, which uses the defects of network protocol and opening of Internet, is a big threat to the network security. This thesis, first, analyzes the motivation and the whole process of network attack; Secondly, it makes a analysis of some common network attacking techniques and gives the solution for each of them; Finally, it provides a whole set of security strategy, then indicates the new direction of network attack.
