Step 1 Revision
T: Boys and girls, we’ve learned twelve vowels. I’m sure you can read them correctly. Do you want to have a try?

Step 2 Presentation
Learn the eight vowels /e?/, /a?/, /??/, /??/, /a?/, /??/, /e?/ and /??/.

Step 3 Practice
1. Get the vowels.
Read the following words and try to get the vowels. (Page 65)

2. More examples.
Read some words, expressions and sentences about /e?/, /a?/, /??/, /??/ and /a?/.
T: I’d like to show you the vowels. Would you please read some words, expressions or sentences with the vowels /e?/, /a?/, /??/, /??/ and /a?/?

3. Play a game.
T: Enjoy a video. Try to say some words about /??/, /e?/, /??/ and get the vowel seeds.

T: Good job! All of you read the sentences correctly. Here are some difficult sentences. Please read them clearly and correctly.

6. Do they have the same vowels?
T: Do the two words have the same vowels? You can do it like this: may /e?/, night /a?/. They are different.
