In this design, both the property and application of the cyclohexane, as well as production status of cyclohexane were presented and determines production method for cyclohexane. Furthermore, Material balance calculation, heat balance calculation and equipment selection and calculation were carried out in the design. According to the design task, the amount of various raw materials and the import and export material flow of the major equipment can be calculated on the basis of material balance, in the heat balance, the heat load of the reactor, heat exchanger, and the amount of cooling water and vapor were calculated. After all, major installations and supporting facility’s model were determined according to the technological conditions, then listed the necessary equipments and finally maked a quota of technology economy of the product and the basic safe production principle. This design mainly contains three charts, including the material flow chart, process chart with control point as well as plane and elevation design of the equipment.
