Step 1 Preparation
Say a rhyme —— A letter for me
Free talk.
Step 2 Presentation
教师先利用钟面拨动时间来复习时间的顺序表达法和动词词组:get up 、 have breakfast 、watch TV 、do one’s homework.
T: What time is it?
S: It’s six o’clock.
T: It’s time to get up.
……
将钟面指针拨到6:30,引出时间的逆序表达及短语 brush my teeth
T: What time is it?
S: It’s six thirty.
T: Yes, it’s half past six.(呈现half past six) 释义并教读。
I’m brushing my teeth.
(做动作,让学生先理解,然后呈现brush my teeth,并适时呈现teeth的单数tooth.)
将钟面时间拨到6:50,同上教学,呈现ten to seven ,板书,释义,初步了解to 的用法。
询问学生:What time do you go to school?
S: I go to school at 7:20.
教师将钟面上的时间拨到7:15,说:It’s a quarter past seven.(呈现并教学 a quarter) It’s late . Let’s hurry.(呈现并教学 Let’s hurry).
5 、T: It’s time to go to school. It’s time to meet my good friend. I need to meet him. Do you want to meet him? Do you want to go to school with me?
Let the students try to answer the questions. ( Teach the new drill: Do you want to…)
借助挂图,呈现课文背景:It’s Thursday .David has a busy day. He is busy from seven in the morning to ten at night.
听录音,逐步呈现A部分三个场景的对话内容, 回答问题:Q1 : What time does David get up?Q2 : What time does he brush his teeth?Q3: Who’s on duty today?Q4 : Does David want to watch TV?Q5: Is David tired?
听录音,跟读,能够完整地感知对话内容。
