Book 3 Unit 9 Period III（Section B, 1a-1d） 教学内容分析： 本单元围绕关系代词“who, that”的用法，通过学习由关系代词引导的定语从句，让学生学习谈论自己的喜好，培养他们的审美情趣。 本节课有两部分：第一部分就one’s favorite 展开思维训练，第二部分1b-1c通过对话的形式继续对things one likes 进行听力训练，1d就1b、1c的内容进行口语训练。 二．学生情况分析： 学生在学完本单元第一、二课时后，对于由“who, that”引导的定语从句有了初步的了解，但只局限于第一人称，对于定语从句中关系代词作主语时，谓语动词的单、复数的用法还不十分熟悉，本节课通过活动1中的思维训练和2a、2b的听力练习，训练学生勇敢尝试用英语中的定语从句表达自己及他人的爱好、偏好。 三．教学方式： 本节课的教学设计以听力教学为主，分角色表演，再通过小组活动，练习听力材料中的内容。 四．教学目标： 1.语言目标：Language goals New words: sink Target language: I like musicians who write their own songs. He likes clothes that are unusual. 2.能力目标：Ability goals Enable students to talk about others’favorite things and their own preferences using the Attributive Clause. 3.情感、态度、价值观：Emotion and attitude goals Enable the students to learn by expressing their own preferences, then experience happiness. 4.策略目标：Strategy goals Listening for the key sentences 5.文化意识目标：Culture awareness goals People’s different preferences to different clothes, music and movies 七．教具：Teaching aids a. a tape recorder b. multiple media 八．教学过程：Teaching procedures Step 1.Warming up: 1.Exercise Hockey Pocky to make the students relax and draw their attention to the lesson. 2.Play different kinds of music for the students to listen and let them discuss what kind of music they like, in groups of 3 or 4, talk about others’ favorite kind of music. Step 2.Fill in the chart. Section B ,1a Write the names of their favorite band, book and movie. Step 3.Listening practice:1b,1c 1.Lead-in: Talk about the picture . T: What can you see in the picture?
