Step 1: Show learning goals
Step 1: Warming up and revision
Teacher asks: What kind of food would you like?
What kind of drink would you like?
Students answer: I’d like ……
Look at the pictures and Ss speak in English
Review “would like” and food or drink words through exercise.
Aim: To help students review the words about food and drink by using “would like”
Step 3:Work on 3a
Fill in the blanks with the words in the box
Aim: To help students review some words they learned so that they can make good use of them. At the same time, they can lead to 3b and 3c.
Step 4: Writing practice
Finish 3b and 3c.According to foods and prices, Ss try to write an ad for a restaurant, then group discussion
Aim: To let students practice writing by using the sentence structures
Step 5:work on self check 1 ﹠2
Aim: To let students have a better revision of the words in this unit and there be.
Step 6: Work on self check 3
Students make a conversation with the help of the clues in pairs, then ask two groups on stage display
Aim: To train students’ teamwork skills and exercise students’ ability to express their spoken language.
Step 7: Language points and do exercises
Display 4 language points in this class through multimedia, after that do exercises including these points
Aim: To let students master the points and put to use
