C alibration sites w ere selected in the study area. Apparent electrical conductivities ( EC a) w ere m easured, and so il sam plesw ere collected in the calibration sites. The resu lts show ed there w as a good correlation betw een so il salt content and the apparent electrical conductiv ity, so the interpretation model for so il salin ity cou ld be estab lished. A m ob ile electrom agnetic induction survey system w as constructed to survey the study areaw ith enough EC a data collected. The spatialvariance could be studied w ith G IS and geostatistics know ledge, and the tem poralspatial variances cou ld be rapid d iagnosed by EM surveys over different tmi es. The results show ed serious salinization ex ited in the study area, and salin ization in autum n w as worse than that in spring, salinization in 2009 w asm ore serious than that in 2008.
