二、教学目标:
(一)知识目标
1.能正确理解并朗读课文。
2.能听、说、认读句子What size are your shoes? My shoes are size… How heavy are you? I’m …kilograms. Your shoes are bigger/smaller than mine. You’re heavier than me.
(二)能力目标
1.能用What size are your shoes? My shoes are size… How heavy are you? I’m …kilograms. 进行鞋号和体重的问答,并能用Your shoes are bigger/smaller than mine. You’re heavier than me.进行比较鞋号和体重的比较。
2.通过拓展活动了解衣服尺码的表达方式。
(三)情感目标
1. 了解中西方鞋码的不同。
2. 渗透乐于助人的德育教育。
三、教学重难点:
1. 教学重点是What size are your shoes? My shoes are size… How heavy are you? I’m …kilograms. Your shoes are bigger/smaller than mine. You’re heavier than me.句型的掌握。
2. 难点是句型的实际运用以及中西方鞋码不同的理解。
四、教具:
课件, 智慧教室系统,两双鞋子,school uniform list
五、教学过程:
(一)Warm-up:
1.Let’s do(Review words):
Taller, taller. Shorter, shorter. Bigger, bigger.Smaller, smaller. Heavier, heavier. Thinner, thinner.
(二)Presentation
1. T: Spring comes, the weather is warmer and warmer, I want to go hiking, but at first I should go to the shoestore to buy some new hiking shoes for my family. (Show the picture of shoestore.) Look! There are so many beautiful shoes there. (Take out two pairs of shoes) There are more beautiful shoes here. Which pair is bigger?
Ss: I think the red/brown shoes are bigger.
T: It’s difficult to judge which pair is bigger. But we can see the size. What size are the red shoes?
Let one student see the size and say the number. Then read “Size 14.” one by one.
T: Can you guess what size the brown shoes are?
Ss: Size…?
T: Yes, they are size 15. So which pair is bigger?
2. Mike and Wu Yifan are in the shoestore, too. What size are Wu Yifan’s shoes? A. Size 38.B. Size 37.
Watch and choose.
3. Passing game:
-What size are your shoes?
-My shoes are size…
4. What size are Mike’s shoes? A. Size 7. B. Size 37. Read and choose.
