Step2. New words study
1. The teacher shows a picture about tennis to study the word
“ tennis”.
In the same way to study the following new words: ping-pong, soccer, bat, volleyball, basketball, go, have .
Step3 . Presentation
1. Present the key vocabulary.
(Show a volleyball to the class.)
What ’ s this in English? S1: It ’volleyballs.
Do you have a volleyball ? S1: Yes, I do .
S2 : No, I don ’t.
Ok. Please repeat after me. V-O-L-L-E-Y-B-A-L-L, volleyball. Ss: V-O-L-L-E-Y-B-A-L-L, volleyball
(Show the students other objects. Practicethe new words “ soccer
ball, ping-pong ball, tennis bat, ping- pong bat ” in the same way.)

Ask one student to show the answers and check them.
2. Present the key structure.
Present these questions and answers.
