She always holds the opinion that it’s all or nothing. She can bear imperfection in her life, not even failure. One time, she broke her one of her nails. She thinks the broken nail ruined her all nails so she decided to cut all of her nails. But her daughter stopped her. What her daughter saw were the other nine amazing and perfect nails. Since then, the author has begun to reflect on her act. At last she learned to treat failures as a normal part in life and tried to accept them in a positive way. 学生分析 The students are from class34,senior two. They are better at English than students in other classes. For them, it is not enough to learn knowledge only from books. It is necessary to teach them something beyond the books so that they can broaden their horizon and learn more. In my opinion, after analyzing the passage, they can have a better understanding about the topic of the passage----- failure is a normal part in life. What we need to do is to have a right attitude and accept it positively and try to overcome it and live with it, which is very important for our students to ease their great press from study. 教学目标 1)By analyzing the passage, students could have a clear understanding about the passage. 2)After reading the passage, students could treat failures in life positively. 3.)By applying writing skills, students could give advice to friends faced with failures.
