Feed, according to, faithfully, Sofa, noisy, nearly, stranger, common, choice 短语 care for, what’s more, have no choice but to do, run free 能力目标 使学生了解文章的结构:先陈述观点,再展开理据; 培养学生根据问题找出关键词、句的能力 培养学生解答阅读题的能力; 思想感情目标 培养学生爱护动物的爱心。 教学重难点 阅读微技能 (快速阅读, 找关键词,精读)的掌握 教学过程 教学步骤 教师活动 学生活动 教学目的 Warming up Talk about different kinds of pet animals. Students tell what kinds of animals can be pets. Inspire students’ curiosity about strange creatures While-reading A. Practice Exercise One to Three on the handout to help students grasp the different opinions of two persons. B. Ask students to do some detailed reading about the passage to instruct the comprehension of some difficult sentences and train the ability to skim for the key sentences. C. Present another passage of pets. A. Go through the text and then a find out the reasons. B. Find out the key words and key sentences that help to choose the correct answers to the multiple choices questions. C. Ss read one more passage about pets. 1. To help Ss grasp the key events and underline them. 2. To get detail information. 3. To consolidate the skills of finding the correct answers.
