Scott Fitzgerald in 1925. It describes a story happened in New York city and Long Island during the 1920s. Due to its birth, Fitzgerald has gained his reputation in contemporary American literature history. This paper consists of three parts. The first part of the paper introduces the plot of the great Gatsby, then leads to the theme —American Dream is that dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone. There are opportunities for each according to his ability or achievements.
